THE BRIEF
Project media on a 20ft statue inside a restaurant / nightclub environment. I have worked directly with TAO for years now, creating new media, opening new locations, and walking other vendors through these delicate installations.
BACKGROUND:
Since 2012 I have designed and animated twenty projection mapped experiences for the TAO Group, two minutes in duration each. They are mapped on a 20ft statue of the Buddhist divinity, the Guanyin. Using Mad Mapper I spatially scanned the statue at each location and adjusted the media. Dan Melancon created custom playback software to run the installation.
